Lawyer Scientist
Doug Aaron, a lawyer scientist, is committed to staying on the cutting edge of information and technology to assure his clients are given the best representation possible. Mr. Aaron is a member of the National College for DUI Defense and a Founding Member of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association. Each year Mr. Aaron travels the country attending schools and seminars to stay on top of the cutting edge of technology and techniques to assure his clients receive the best advocacy possible for their particular case.
The son of a retired FBI agent, Mr. Aaron has lived in Coffee County virtually his entire life. He is married and has two adult sons. He and his wife reside in rural Coffee County on a 60 acre farm where he enjoys working and raising draft work mules. Doug, his wife Kim and sons, Luke and Ben are lifelong fans of the University of Tennessee, and can often be found following the Volunteers on football Saturdays in the fall.
Undergraduate Degree
Doug is one of very few lawyers to complete the NHTSA SFST practitioner's course in the administration of NHTSA's standardized field sobriety tests and the NHTSA ARIDE advanced DUI detection course.
Law Degree
Mr. Aaron is a 1984 graduate of the University of Tennessee (BS with honors), and a 1996 graduate of the Nashville School of Law (JD).
